How do I reset my password?

Open the app, tap Sign in → Forgot password, and enter your email. We’ll send you a link. You can also reset your password here on the web using the link from that email.

How does matching work?

Add books you've read and loved—ten is enough to start. Foreword introduces you to readers whose shelves overlap with yours and shows you the evidence: the actual books you have in common. There's no score from a black box.

How do I delete my account?

You can permanently delete your account and all its data from Settings → Delete accountinside the app. If you can’t access the app, email us at hello@joinforeword.comand we’ll take care of it.

How do I import my books from Goodreads?

Export your Goodreads library to a CSV (from Goodreads’ My Books → Import and export), then in Foreword go to Settings → Import from Goodreads and upload the file.

Someone is being abusive. How do I report or block them?

On any profile or message, use the … menu to block or report. Blocks are immediate. For anything urgent, email hello@joinforeword.com.

Which devices are supported?

Foreword is an iOS app, available on iPhone. Android is not available yet.
