Welcome to Foreword. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Foreword.
Who can use Foreword
You must be at least 13 years old to use Foreword. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Your content
You keep ownership of the reviews, lists, messages, and other content you create. By posting it, you grant Foreword a non-exclusive license to host and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your reviews to other readers). You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other readers.
- Post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content, or spam.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.
Book data
Book metadata and cover images are provided by third parties such as Google Books and Open Library and remain the property of their respective owners.
Disclaimers
Foreword is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches or recommendations will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foreword will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Foreword and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the date above. Continued use of Foreword after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
